A certain gold smelter purchased gold concentrate with fine particle size. Through two-stage ball milling and closed circuit grinding, the highest fineness can reach -45um95%, but the gold grade of cyanide tailings is still as high as 1.55g/t. Using an ALC500L sand mill, the particle size of -37.5um reached 98.17%, and the tailings gold level was reduced to 1.04g/t.
